Homin Jung, CPA, is a co-founder of Clinchstone Partners and a finance and strategy executive with nearly a decade of experience spanning Big Four assurance, technical accounting advisory, transaction readiness, and operational leadership. He served as Vice President of Finance & Strategy at New Horizon Medical Solutions, partnering with senior executives on financial performance, revenue growth, liquidity, and strategic initiatives. His perspective brings together the scrutiny of an independent auditor, the technical capabilities of an advisory consultant, and the commercial accountability of an operating-company finance leader.
Homin began his career in PwC’s New York City practice, serving not-for-profit organizations, major universities, and biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies. His engagements included financial statement audits, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) reporting, Uniform Guidance compliance, and audit procedures involving university endowments and pension plans. Working across varied reporting frameworks and organizational structures developed his foundation in U.S. GAAP, internal controls, regulatory requirements, audit evidence, and the accuracy and completeness of financial information presented to boards, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.
At CFGI, Homin advised life-sciences and growth-stage companies during periods of significant change, including SPAC and IPO preparation, U.S. GAAP-to-IFRS financial reporting conversions, complex accounting and reporting matters, internal-controls assessments, process redesign, and ERP implementation. He also provided interim senior finance-management support to Boston-based biotechnology businesses, working within client teams to strengthen reporting processes and execution capacity. His broader consulting work included payroll administration and evaluation of COVID-era tax-relief opportunities that produced meaningful savings for clients.
As an internal finance and strategy leader, Homin has helped translate financial information into decisions involving working capital, lender and asset-based loan diligence, customer and product profitability, revenue generation, expense management, and organizational performance. His work encompasses cash-flow analysis, management reporting, operating metrics, sales-commission frameworks, and cross-functional initiatives designed to improve financial visibility and execution. At Clinchstone, he helps clients prepare information that can withstand third-party scrutiny while ensuring it is equally useful to the people running the business—clarifying the story behind the numbers, the available choices, and the practical steps required to move forward.
